It looks like I am embarking on my commercial pilot journey.
The scariest part for a newbie is still landing, so I was a little worried about that, especially taking into account a narrow gravel runway. I was surprised how natural it felt though, hands and feet have done the job without so much conscious effort.
I didn’t have too much time in controlled airspace before, so this part was a little iffy too, but it went very naturally too. Just say whatever you want and listen for instructions. And, of course, follow them, that’s it. The funny part is that at some point the controller asked if we’re aware of potential skydiving aircraft activity near the dropzone when we were getting closer to it. They clearly were not aware that we were that skydiving aircraft 🙂
This aircraft is amazing! 265 HP with a constant-speed prop after 160 HP in a training C172 is a real thing. It looks like I am gonna love this job!
