I am currently working on studying for the ATPL theory. Right now, I am focusing on Aircraft General Knowledge simply because it is the first subject on the alphabetical list after Air Law. I’m not quite ready to dive into EASA Air Law yet. I am still considering studying in the US, where the regulations differ more than in any other subject.
Recently, I came across a great explanation of the principle behind piston engines: “suck, squeeze, bang, blow”! Although I already have a good understanding of school-level physics and enjoy learning about vehicles, I found this explanation to be especially amusing.
Overall, I’m enjoying the process of studying for my ATPL theory. It’s challenging, but I’m motivated to continue improving my knowledge in aviation.
